Project Name - Teaching Spaces Digital Refurbishment Project
What’s the project about?
This project involved the full Audio-Visual kit out of 114 teaching spaces to improve the digital experience and ensure a consistent service for Lecturers and Students. ITD maintains a template for new rooms being commissioned or being refurbished. New equipment included projectors, screens, speakers, controllers, document cameras, webcams, additional whiteboards and tamper proof podiums.
Cutting edge technologies were deployed to enable ITD to remotely view and control the AV equipment, without having to physically attend the teaching space. ITD have seen a welcome reduction in calls due to the upgraded equipment and improved cable management.

Lecturers & Students will benefit from a reliable teaching environment that’s easy to use.
By having a standard Audio-Visual deployment, both Lecturer and Students have a consistent teaching experience, with similar technology in each centrally bookable teaching space.
