The LDCRC is pleased to be involved in this important event by hosting a Symposium on Integrated Cancer Medicine on Tuesday 29 April 2025 at 2:00pm in the Engineering Research Building at UL. This event will highlight ongoing cross-faculty, interdisciplinary research at UL/UHL with an emphasis on Breast cancer and Blood cancer. This is an opportunity to connect with researchers from a wide range of disciplines, across all career levels.
The LDCRC is particularly delighted to welcome the keynote speaker Professor Donald McDonnell, Glaxo Welcome Distinguished Professor of Molecular Cancer Biology in the Department of Pharmacology and Cancer Biology at Duke University School of Medicine in North Carolina, USA. Professor McDonnell and his team focus on the development and application of mechanism-based approaches to identify novel therapeutics for use in the treatment and prevention of hormonally responsive cancers.
