Dr Eoghan Cunnane (Associate Professor of Biomedical Materials Engineering, School of Engineering) gives an overview of the work his group is undertaking to develop preclinical models of genital urinary tissue which can be used to evaluate effective treatments for a range of conditions and how this research will further assist with the understanding of disease progression across several disorders including cancer.
Dr Cunnane also highlights how one of the benefits of LDCRC membership was assistance with research funding. watch here
