There was a great turnout for the recent Limerick Cancer Research Meeting that took place in UHL with keynote speaker Prof Roddy O'Connor, Ph.D. session on “Arginine connects one-carbon metabolism to histone methylation in CAR T cells with enhanced metabolic fitness and anti-tumor efficacy”
There was also updates heard on the 2024 cancer research from Prof Paul Murray and Dr James Brown labs. LDCRC Directors Prof Aedin Culhane provided a review of the LDCRC since the launch in 2021 and Prof Ruth Clifford discussed the future of Limerick Cancer Research.
