Brief Description

The Graduate Certificate in Serious Crime Investigation is a one-year, full-time online programme designed for graduates of the special purpose award in Serious Crime Investigation delivered by The Garda Training College in Templemore, Co. Tipperary. The Certificate is ideally suited to members of An Garda Síochána who are looking to capitalize on their existing expertise in the field of modern policing and develop an advanced and integrated understanding of the legal issues which surround serious crime investigation. WHAT TO INCLUDE WITH YOUR APPLICATION:

  • Qualification transcripts and certificates
  • A copy of your birth certificate or passport
  • A copy of your CV
  • If your qualifications have been obtained in a country where English is an official language this will suffice. 
  •  If this is not available, the following additional documents must be provided:
  • English translation of your qualification(s)/transcripts AND
  • English language competency certificate
