The role of the People and Culture Committee is to advise the Governing Authority on the University’s efforts to:

Build a new and authentic workplace culture, distinctive to UL, that attracts, develops, excites, and retains exceptional people;

Create a better, healthier work environment where all staff feel comfortable raising different points of view, as well as airing their concerns and questions;

Ensure that people occupying leadership positions at all levels lead in ways that build trust and align with the University’s stated values1

Ensure that all decision-making is integrity-based;

Ensure that strategies, policies, and the University community are fully aligned to achieving gender equality, and equality across all grounds safeguarded in legislation.
