The Cooperative Education & Careers Division (CECD) hosted a visit by Boeing-Seattle on the 6-7th of October 2022.
As Boeing’s Flight Deck Chief Engineer, Pio Fitzgerald leads the Flight Deck Crew Operations & Design teams that support future airplane development and all BCA programmes. The focus of the visit was the selection of two Aeronautical Engineering undergraduates for Cooperative Education placements under the Boeing’s Premier Placement programme. UL is one of only seven universities globally to partner with Boeing on this elite programme. The two successful students, Ana-Maria Betivu and Finn Lenihan, will be based in Boeing’s Seattle campus for the duration of their eight-month Coop placement, where they will get to apply their academic knowledge and understandings in the world’s largest aerospace company.
