As our new group start working on their PhDs in their first year, they are starting to develop new skills, present BullNet projects and identify key training that compliments their research. During February 2025:
- Abdul (University of Cologne) has recently been presenting his project, at the CECAD seminar in Germany, seeking feedback from audience members.
- Julia (University of Limerick) and Quinn (University College Dublin) participated in a workshop on transcriptomic data analysis at UCD Lyons Farm, working on their own data set and exploring RNA-seq analysis.
- Giuliana (CSIC - INIA) joined the 1st NYRA-EAA-Andronet School ‘Omics of male germ cells: Transcriptomic analyses’ course in Copenhagen.
Such events contribute to personal career development planning and developing competencies that can be applied directly to their projects as we go forward in the BullNet programme.
