Eminent international scholar, Prof Pirjo Nikander, delivers PhD Supervisor training

UL Doctoral College is delighted to welcome eminent international scholar, Prof Pirjo Nikander, Research Director of Tampere University Doctoral School, to UL this week. 

Prof Nikander is delivering a number of workshops for UL PhD supervisors as part of the Doctoral College PhD Supervision Lifecycle programme  

Prof Nikander said, "I had a wonderful time training supervisors in the lovely University of Limerick. A fantastic group or supervisors, engaged in sharing and talking. Thank you for the invite!" 

This workshop forms part of the PhD Supervision Lifecycle Programme which has been designed to enhance the effectiveness and impact of supervisors, ultimately benefiting both their professional growth and the success of their PhD candidates.
