Muhammad Muddasar (Bernal Institute) wins Editor's Choice Award at Vitae UK & Ireland 3-Minute Thesis (3MT®) Final

Following on from his win in the UL Three-Minute Thesis (3MT®) Final during
Research Week 2024, huge congratulations are in order for Muhammad Muddasar (Bernal Institute) who took the Editor's Choice Award at the UK & Ireland Vitae 3MT® Competition Final. 

The event entailed entries from over 850 doctoral researchers from universities in Ireland and the UK. 

The quality of presentations in the final and preceding rounds was magnificent. 

Muddasar did a wonderful job in communicating his research on the topic, 'Harnessing the Power of Leftover Lignin for Waste Heat Harvesting'. You can see his presentation here: Vitae 3MT® 2024 presentation, Muhammad Muddasar

Muddasar's research is related to the Irish bio-economy and is funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.  Muddasar is based in the School of Engineering, Bernal Institute, where his supervisor is Prof. Maurice Collins.
