Success for UL in Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarships announcements
Minister Patrick O’ Donovan has announced €27.5m Research Ireland investment in early-career researchers. Among the beneficiaries is UL's Gráinne Gibson who won the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Postgraduate Scholarship award.
Gráinne's project will study the complexities of climate action in companies by examining the role of research and development (R&D) and digital skill shortages.
In addition to Gráinne winning the EPA award, there was major success for University of Limerick PhD candidates, who won a total of 21 Government of Ireland postgraduate scholarship awards. The list of successful candidates is listed below.
