My experience with the Doctoral College was pivotal in shaping my academic journey, having progressed straight from my Bachelor of Science in physical education undergraduate degree. The Education and Health Sciences structured PhD (sPhD) programme provided me with a comprehensive framework, combining rigorous research training with invaluable professional development opportunities. The support from both faculty and peers enabled me to navigate the complexities of my research, while the tailored modules expanded my expertise beyond my core discipline, enhancing my ability to approach problems from an interdisciplinary perspective.

Participating in the  modules as part of the structured components not only deepened my understanding of my field but also equipped me with the skills necessary to pursue innovative research that makes a tangible impact on society. The structured programme’s emphasis on collaboration, critical thinking, and high academic standards has been instrumental in positioning me for success as a researcher and leader in my field.

I’m proud to have been a part of the Doctoral College community, and I strongly recommend the EHS Structured PhD programme to any prospective applicants looking to elevate their research career.

See you on the other side of success!
