Dr Jill Pearson is a Registered Work and Organisational Psychologist who has been lecturing at the University of Limerick for over 20 years in the areas of organisational behaviour, employee wellbeing, careers, and research methods. She was the inaugural Programme Director of the MSc in Work & Organisational Psychology/Behaviour and is a former Government of Ireland Scholar (IRCHSS). She has been recognised for teaching impact at the University of Limerick. Prior to joining UL, Jill taught at the London Business School and the London School of Economics. She has also worked as a Consultant to a number of multinationals and as an HR Practitioner in both the private and public sectors. Jill received her BA (Honours) in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario, Canada, her MSc in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management from the London School of Economics, and her PhD from the University of Limerick. Her research focuses primarily on the area of careers and career success.
