Catherine Jeanneau is the Coordinator of the Language Learning Hub at the University of Limerick. Prior to 2011 she worked as Research and Development Manager of the Language Support Unit, which aimed at implementing a learner support strategy and providing customised services outside of formal classroom time, with a particular emphasis on non-traditional and mature students in language learning. She obtained two Maitrises from the Université d'Angers (France) in English language and culture and French as a foreign language. Her research interests include second language acquisition, technology and language learning, particularly social media and online communication as well as learner autonomy.
