Biography
Having completed my undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy the University of Limerick, I have since worked in private practice and within the School of Health and Human Performance in Dublin City University.I have a particular interest in musculoskeletal health, with my research primarily aiming to enable lifelong participation in physical activity. My PhD studies, supervised by Prof Kieran Moran and Dr Enda Whyte of Dublin City University and funded by Insight SFI Centre for Data Analytics, investigated the factors associated with running injuries among recreational runners, involving a large scale, prospective study with the collection of both biomechanical and clinically focused data.
At present, my role involves lecturing on the BSc and MSc in Physiotherapy programmes within the School of Allied Health.
