The Faculty of Science & Engineering has a number of programmes that are accredited by a wide range of Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies (PSRBs). Our external accreditations signify quality assurances from national and international peers in addition to ensuring graduates are professionally qualified and recognised.
Engineers Ireland (EI)
Engineers Ireland’s accreditation is an objective evaluation and approval of engineering programmes, ensuring that they meet international standards, the needs of the engineering profession and broader responsibilities to society, environment and economy. Graduates of accredited programmes, at the appropriate standard, may go on to achieve one of the professional titles of Chartered Engineer and Associate Engineer. Learn More

The Institution of Engineering Designers is a British professional engineering institution founded in 1945. The IED is the UK’s only professional body representing those working in the fields of Engineering and Technological Product Design. IChemE accreditation provides benchmarking of academic programmes against high, internationally recognised standards.
