  • Research:
    • Biomedical materials fabrication and characterisation including: Development of Glass ionomer cements for dental applications including remineralisation of tooth enamel; in vivo and in vitro cellular compatibility assessment; hydrogels for biomedical application
    • Development of infra-red transparent glasses with high modulus and thermal properties
    • Process Troubleshooting and Improvement:  development of new analytical protocols, application of state-of-the art equipment to address challenging solid-state materials characterisation
