The Faculty of Science & Engineering places a strong focus on equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), we believe that our teaching and research is enriched and enhanced by considering diverse aspects of the areas that we teach and research.  Our aim is to ensure that the perspectives of students from all diverse backgrounds and perspectives are reflected in our curriculum, including actions pertaining to the University of Limerick Equality and Human Rights Strategy. In 2019, UL appointed an Assistant Dean Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in each Faculty. The appointment was made to provide academic leadership and overall management of EDI in the context of UL strategy.
