Graduate and Professional Studies and the Postgraduate Student Union are running a competition for UL postgraduate researchers (PGRs) called ‘Picture This!’ as part of UL Research Week 2022 from the 25th April until the 29th April.

The competition calls on PGRs to submit a high resolution photo (minimum of 300 dpi, i.e. 300 dots per inch) to give a visual perspective on your research with a caption (280 characters max.) attached.

All eligible images will be posted on social media (Instagram and Twitter), with the top ten entries chosen by public vote.

The top ten photos will be printed and displayed at an exhibition of the images in the KBS Building during Research Week.

Prize Money is as follows:

  • 1st Prize: €500
  • 2nd Prize: €250
  • 3rd Prize: €150
