E&CE staff members, Martin Hayes, Tom Newe, and Dan Toal were delighted to have been part of the UL team that were involved in the discussions and preparation of the successful “Future Mobility Campus Ireland” (FMCI) application to the Regional Enterprise Development Fund (REDF). The application was successful and was awarded €4,723,197. The Future Mobility Campus Ireland (FMCI) project will deliver a state-of-the-art vehicle test facility to provide technology companies and researchers with the ability to assess and enhance their innovations. The work will begin in 2020 to establish this test-bed in Shannon, Co. Clare to service the Mid-West region.
