HEA HCI-3 Awards

ECE were successful in winning over €2.5M in the recently announced HEA Human Capital Initiative – Pillar 3 projects. UL through Martin Hayes (ECE HoD), Tom Newe and Eoin O’Connell were partners in two HCI-Pillar 3 successful projects with lead partners CIT (Cyber-Skills-with UL, UCD,TUD and ITT) and ITT (REEdI– Rethinking Engineering Education in Ireland-with UL and CIT). The projects in total were allocated over €17M with the UL allocation in excess of €2.5M. These awards will allow ECE to grow its Cyber Security and Engineering Education interests nationally.
