International Student Grant (IISG)

Assistant Professor Sanober Farheen Memon, E&CE, was awarded funding to attend the International Student Grant (IISG) at the International School on Light Sciences and Technologies (ISLiST) 2023 at Santander Spain held in June 2023.

The main core of the school was Light in Health and Medicine which provided the opportunity to join insightful discussions and lectures from world-renowned Professors, Doctors, and Industry Professionals on various topics such as Photonics in Cancer Research, Tissue Engineering using Lasers, Spectroscopic Techniques for Biomedical diagnosis, and Deep learning based Computational Microscopy.
