Professional Diploma in OT Security-Growth in numbers

The recently launched Professional Diploma in OT Security Programme has seen a doubling in the number of applications received this year compared to last. This increase in demand for the programme is due to its uniqueness in Ireland and the huge skills shortage in this area throughout all the sectors; manufacturing, pharma, ICT, etc. This course is a collaborative programme between UL@Work and CyberSkills, both of which are HCI (Human Capital Initiative) funded initiatives. The first graduates of this programme were in August 2023 and among them was the great Cork hurler Donal Óg Cusack.
