On Tuesday 19th November, UL staff attended the Asia Matters 2024 Awards in Dublin where UL was honoured with the Higher Education Partner of the Year Award. The event was hosted by Gráinne Seoige and guests also enjoyed musical performances.

Asia Matters is Ireland’s only Asia think tank. Founded in 2012 by the late Dr. T.P Hardiman, Alan Dukes and Martin Murray; Asia Matters is focused on building dynamic business links and informed understanding between Asia, EU and Ireland to drive partnerships and economic growth.
