Arash Negahdari Kia is a postdoctoral researcher and invited lecturer at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Limerick, Ireland. He is also a member of Lero, Irish Software Research Centre, and Emerging Risk Group, Kemmy Business School, UL.


He completed his PhD and M.Sc. degree in IT Eng. from the University of Tehran researching on time series prediction developing machine learning and network science algorithms.


Arash is a Marie Curie Scholar funded on a project about cyber risk prediction using machine learning. He is now working on an SFI CONFIRM project on smart infusion pumps data analytics. He has researches on financial markets prediction, cybersecurity, medical diagnosis, and search engines. Arash's research interests also include network science, big data, and bioinformatics.
