Emma Greenbank is a New Zealand citizen and finished her PhD at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand under Mark McGuinness (graduating in 2021). For her PhD she was mathematically modelling a type of volcanic ejecta. This was the research that she started in her Masters and continued into her PhD.

During her undergrad she completed a double major in Mathematics and Physics. Between the years of 2019-2021, she lectured first to third year courses for Victoria University of Wellington this included statistics and engineering mathematics at the first year level and second and third year differential equations courses. She has extensively tutored and demonstrated labs throughout the majority of her studies.

She is currently working on a postdoc at the University of Limerick working with Doireann O'Kiely
on modelling lithium-ion batteries.

Research Interests: Mathematical Modelling of Physical Systems, Fluid flow in Porous Media, Heat Transport, Boundary Layer Analysis, Numerical Analysis.
