The Student Leadership for Sustainable Development programme, organised by the Centre for Sustainable Futures and Innovation in collaboration with Go Global’s Study Abroad team, led by Elisa Minoue, launched successfully on 13th February. The programme began with a comprehensive "Sustainability 101" session, providing students with a foundational understanding of the three pillars of sustainability and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Students then reflected on what sustainability means to them and its relevance in today's world to prepare for their second week's class on the UL Sustainability Missions. During the second week, students delved into the origins of the UL Sustainability Missions and explored all 21 missions through engaging discussions. We eagerly anticipate the innovative project proposals that will emerge from this group based on the UL Sustainability Missions.
