Hello to all!

My name is Elisa and I am happy to join the Centre for Sustainable Futures and Innovations (CSFI).

My role here is to engage with you, University of Limerick students, guiding our collective efforts toward a sustainable and regenerative future that balances economic, environmental, and social factors.

My passion for sustainability stems from my interdisciplinary studies in sociology and geography at the University of British Columbia. Through exploring diverse cultures and our complex relationship with the environment, I developed a broader perspective on sustainability. It’s a field that touches every aspect of life—from the performing arts to engineering, architecture, biology, and beyond. This interdisciplinary approach is something I’m eager to share with the UL community.

If you have ideas about sustainability on campus, want to learn more, launch an event, or just need a friendly chat, feel free to reach out at studentsustainability@ul.ie

Let’s work together to make your voice heard and shape a more sustainable future!
