We were delighted to have so many members of the UL community join us at the Royal Irish Academy in Dublin for an unforgettable UL Alumni event, including our Chancellor, Professor Brigid Laffan.  It was a great evening filled with insight, conversation, and connection.

The highlight of the night was a fantastic talk by Professor Stephen Kinsella, Head of the Department of Economics at UL and economic advisor to the Taoiseach and Tánaiste, titled:
“Storms and Silver Linings: Navigating Crises and Opportunities for Ireland.”

Stephen gave us both perspective and reassurance, reminding us that Ireland’s stability premium—our reputation for solid institutions, steady leadership, and resilience—has us in a strong position, even in uncertain times.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the night such a success. The strength of the UL community really shines when we come together like this.
