We are delighted to invite our alumni to a networking event in the heart of Dublin. Join us on Wednesday, 16 April, at 6 pm at the Royal Irish Academy, 19 Dawson Street, Dublin 2.
Join us for an engaging evening featuring a thought-provoking talk, Storms & Silver Linings: Navigating Crises and Opportunities for Ireland, by Professor Stephen Kinsella, Economic Advisor to An Tánaiste, Simon Harris. A Full Professor of Economics at the University of Limerick, Stephen is also Head of the Department of Economics, Co-Director of UL’s Immersive Software Engineering programme, and a Research Associate at the Rhodes Centre for International Finance at Brown University.
Twice named Economic Commentator of the Year, Stephen’s expertise spans journalism, academia, and policy advisory roles, with work published in The Currency, the Sunday Business Post, the Irish Independent, the Guardian, and The New York Times.
This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow alumni, expand your network, and gain valuable insights from one of Ireland’s leading economic voices.
Also in attendance will be Laura Ryan, Director of Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs at UL, and Norita Kelleher, Alumni Services Manager. They are looking forward to welcoming you in person and sharing updates on the university’s latest developments.
Attendance is free, but places are limited, so be sure to register your interest early. We look forward to seeing you there for what promises to be an engaging and memorable gathering!
