Dr Alphonce C. L. Omolo research interest is in youth justice. He practised as a consultant in safeguarding children and young people in Kenya and internationally for about a decade. He has over two decades of hands-on practice experience with children and young people in Kenya, Tanzania, and London. He has worked as an adjunct lecturer at the Loyola Institute for Ministry (LIM), Loyola University, New Orleans. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Comparative Education from the Ruhr University Bochum in Germany and a Masters in Sociology of Childhood and Children’s Rights (Childhood Studies) from the UCL Institute of Education, University of London.

 Alphonce is part of the Commonwealth specialist pool of consultants for youth projects.
