Dr Catherine Naughton was an invited speaker at the ACJRD organised seminar on the Bail Supervision Scheme for Children held in the Department of Children and Youth Affairs (DCYA) on 10 September 2019.
At the seminar, Catherine presented on REPPP’s recent evaluation of the Bail Supervision Scheme.
Tony O’Donovan, DCYA, presented on the background to the scheme and the policy implications resulting from the evaluation while and Fiona Murphy and Stephen Coughlan of Extern presented on the implementation of the scheme.
Catherine also presented the findings of the evaluation at the Children and Young People’s Mental Health and Wellbeing: Communities, families’ resilience and resistance, conference hosted by the Centre for Child Wellbeing and Protection in Stirling University on 5 September.
She also co-presented on the same topic at the North South Criminology Conference hosted by UCC with Hannah McCormack Extern on 1 September.
