‘The Action Research Project researchers presented at the 2019 Garda Youth Diversion Project Annual Conference in Croke Park to a wide audience of over 200 practitioners.
They spoke about their approach to action research and the value of co-designing practice guidance with 60 workers in 16 sites and opening the ‘black box’ of what effective relationships between youth professionals and young people in a justice setting look like.
They also launched their practitioner handbook on the day, a resource primarily for participating projects but also to keep the 105 projects nationwide up to date on the development of the project.’
