We are aiming to host a gender history salon on 31 March 2025 to celebrate International Women's Day. Entitled Telling Her-Stories, the event will bring together researchers (both students and staff) with interests in gender and women's history. Postgraduate students from all disciplines are encouraged to share their research in the form of a 10-minute presentation. The event will take place in a hybrid form, both online and in person at UL. The salon will consist of a panel in the morning, followed by presentations and discussions in the afternoon.
Prospective panellists must send a 250-300 word abstract to leanne.calvert@ul.ie by 10 March 2025 to be considered.
If you are interested in attending either online or in-person, or would like further information, please email leanne.calvert@ul.ie by 24 March 2025. More information will be circulated in due time regarding a venue.
