Aizhamal Subanbekova

Aizhamal was born in Kyrgyzstan, she is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Crystal Engineering group at the University of Limerick under Prof. Michael Zaworotko's supervision since October 2020. In July 2020, Aizhamal received a M.S. from the Adam Mickiewicz University Department of Crystallography under the supervision of Dr. Agnieszka Janiak, where her research was focused on synthesis of MOFs by applying various crystallization techniques. In June 2018, she received her B.Sc. degree in Riga Technical University, Latvia under the supervision of Dr. Kirill Shubin (Institute of Organic Synthesis). Aizhamal is working on flexible metal-organic materials for gas separation and storage applications.
