M. Sc Beatriz Bezerra is a visiting Ph.D. student (one year) in the Crystal Engineering Research Group at the University of Limerick, Ireland. She was born in Fortaleza, Brazil in 1983. She received her two B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Federal University of Ceara (2006 and 2008) and Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (2012). For two years she worked as an analyst at Centro de Desenvolvimento e Ensaios Farmacêuticos (CEDEFAR-UFC), a development center in pharmaceutical trials, with pharmaceutical equivalence, validations of analytical methods and reviews to Brazilian Pharmacopoeia.
In 2009 she was Professor of Control Quality of Medicines in the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), Brazil. Subsequently, she joined Federal University of Ceará (UFC) to pursue her research in Crystal Engineering Applied to Anti-Chagas Drug Benznidazole of Prof. Alejandro Pedro Ayala.
