Getting students to co-create a Glossary

Learners cannot add terms to the Glossary themselves, but you could ask them to write the terms and definitions, then add them to a CSV file to upload. See the instructions in Upload a group of Glossary Items using a CSV file to learn how to do this. 

Ideas on how to ask your students to co-create a Glossary: 

• Ask your learners to write definitions for any unfamiliar terms they have heard in your lecture of their readings, to help build a shared Glossary. 

• Ask groups of students to collaborate on writing terms for the Glossary.  

• Ask students to peer review each others’ Glossary terms and suggest changes.
