How to find your Brightspace Username - student

UL will send you an email containing your username for accessing Brightspace. The subject line of the email varies by organization, for example, University of Limerick: Enrollment Confirmation. If you did not receive an email with this information, log a call with ITD (I.T Department in UL)

In addition to your username, the email contains a link to set up a password and a link to log in to Brightspace.

Tips:

• The email address you should check is the same email address that UL account is associated with. For example, in UL a student email is your.name@studentmail.ul.ie
• The subject line of the email varies by organization. For example, the subject line might be: University of Limerick: Enrolment Confirmation.
• Passwords must be between 8 and 50 characters. It is recommended that you include lowercase and uppercase alphabetic characters, numbers, and symbols.
• To easily access Brightspace in the future, it is recommended bookmarking the log in page in your favourite browser.
