Courage can be considered a defining characteristic of effective leadership. It enables leaders to navigate uncertainty, stand up for their values, make responsible decisions, take appropriate risks, and inspire others to follow their lead. Our research interests lie in advising how leaders can become more courageous in their everyday work roles and create sustainable work environments for all organisational stakeholders.
