WiA has been a learning experience unlike any other that I have had. WiA was less about consuming theory in a structured learning module and more experiential, learning from other leaders and gaining insights from our shared experiences. These were then explained with the theoretical thoughts on best practice.
The environment created was a very safe one and as a result I found that the course participants shared very openly and were not afraid to be vulnerable. This accelerated feedback and created a strong bond among us. I was particularly buoyed by the fact that the challenges that I was dealing with were shared ones and gave me great confidence to tackle head on.On a personal level, WiA has given me confidence to take a risk relating to a significant career change, something I was reluctant to do beforehand. Finally. WiA has given me loads of insights on areas that I can work on to be a better, stronger leader for my teams and for my organisation. I am taking actions, sharing these with my team and already I see a marked change in how we work together.
I would certainly recommend WiA as mode of learning that is different from traditional learning and that has probably given me more actions /ideas post course that any course previously.

Wisdom in Action – a thought provoking and unique leadership program I’d highly recommend to current and future business leaders. An interactive and fun 6-days with fellow business leaders, academics, coaches, and special guests provided diverse perspectives, and gave me the opportunity to reflect on what leadership is to me and in my business.
This innovative program inspired me to reflect on my journey as a leader and be more thoughtful on my future path and how I get there, particularly around Leader Identity and Risk. As a female leader it can be challenging to have the confidence to step into leadership roles, and not change who you are, but Wisdom in Action, while thought provoking and insightful, also provided tangible tools to help you align on who you wanted to be as a business leader, and how to map a path to get there.
