Equality & Inclusion Practices for Healthcare Staff

While equality and inclusion practices in healthcare have been advanced from a service user perspective, little is known about the application of workplace equality and inclusion practices in healthcare.

As the healthcare workforce becomes more diverse, it is imperative to assess workplace equality and inclusion practices to maximize staff retention and promote workforce integration.

The objectives of the research are to define what workplace equality and inclusion are; to clearly articulate through evidenced-based research the importance of promoting workplace equality and inclusion in healthcare; to assess how workplace equality and inclusion practices are measured in healthcare; to explore how workplace equality and inclusion can be advanced in the health system.
