šŸŽ‰ Celebrating Student Success at the PMI Global Summit – Barcelona!

As part of the PMI Global Summit Series, a dynamic Student Hackathon took centre stage in Barcelona under the theme: "Hack the Circular Economy – for a Smarter Barcelona."

We were incredibly proud to see students from the MSc in Project Management at the University of Limerick join forces with peers from across Europe to take on this challenge - and walk away with 2nd and 3rd place prizes! šŸ„ˆšŸ„‰

Ahead of the event, students were promised:

āœ… Valuable training in project management, AI, and emerging technologies
āœ… The chance to apply their skills in real-world, team-based challenges
āœ… An opportunity to shape the future through innovative solutions for the circular economy

They delivered all that - and more.

šŸŽÆ Their task? Collaborate in diverse teams to design a circular economy project, complete a project charter, and pitch it to a panel of experienced PMI volunteers. The energy, innovation, and teamwork on display were nothing short of inspiring.

A huge congratulations to all participants, and a special shout-out to our UL students who showcased their talent, creativity, and collaborative spirit on an international stage.

We are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of our student participants:

A heartfelt thank you to Juliana Correa and Madeleine Mewi for their leadership in organising the event and for their ongoing support of our students’ participation. Your passion and commitment helped make this experience one they’ll never forget.

The future of project management is bright - and it's in very capable hands. šŸ’”šŸŒ±
