Entrepreneurial and Innovative Mindset in STEAM

The KBS is running a programme on Entrepreneurial and Innovative Mindset in STEAM jointly with Nexus as part of the range of programmes being developed to support female researchers in the broad area of commercialisation across the STEAM area.   The Generating an Entrepreneurial & Innovative Mindset in STEAM(EntreSTEAM) – enhancing your career and commercialisation of research opportunities programmes which will highlight the connection between entrepreneurship and STEAM and show the varied entrepreneurial career opportunities that exist from bridging both disciplines.    It will provide practical steps on how to merge the best of Entrepreneurship and STEAM – demystifying the process,  identifying and validating opportunities for EntreSTEAM and highlighting the supports available to navigate the process. This content will be supplemented by practical examples from STEAM entrepreneurs, researchers, students and organisation representatives.

The session will be very interactive using innovative delivery strategies based on participatory visual based learning methods to engage diverse groups to explore perceptions, barriers and opportunities and solutions on how to motivate females to consider EntreSTEAM as a potential career opportunity.
