Honouring Jim Kemmy: A legacy in the Heart of KBS

A new feature wall celebrating the life and legacy of Jim Kemmy has been unveiled on the first floor of the Kemmy Business School (KBS). This tribute stands as a testament to his enduring impact on education, labour rights, and social justice in Ireland. 

Jim Kemmy was more than a politician and trade unionist—he was a visionary who dedicated his life to advocating for fairness, equality, and progress. His values continue to inspire the students and faculty of KBS, making this feature wall a fitting tribute to his contributions.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Professor Eoin Devereux for crafting the compelling narrative that brings Jim Kemmy’s story to life. His insightful work ensures that future generations will understand and appreciate the values that Jim stood for.
