Kemmy Business School 2024 Seed Funding Awards Announced

The Kemmy Business School recently announced the Faculty and PhD student recipients of its 2024 Seed Funding Awards. A total of 6 awards were made, three to PhD candidates registered at the School and three to KBS Faculty.

The PhD awards went to Tadgh Ryan for his doctoral research on ”Operationalizing Enhanced Community Care through Community Healthcare Networks”, Sidra Hareem Zulfiqar for her doctoral work on “Barriers to Career Progression for British Pakistani Women”, and to Dr Amy Mathers who was recently awarded her PhD and who received funding to support her programme of research on the “Impact of Social Media Influencers on Digital Sustainability Activism”.

The three Faculty awards were presented to Dr Catriona Burke to further the establishment of a “Systematic Transformation coLab” in the KBS, to Dr Mary Curtin to conduct research on “Strategic Workforce Development in the Irish Equine Sector”, and to Dr Mauricio Perez-Alaniz for his research exploring “Academic-Industry R&D Collaborations”.
