“If you have an idea, and you have enough of a burning desire and the willingness to put in the effort, you will win.”
Pat McDonagh, founder and owner of Supermac’s, Só Hotels and the Plaza Group, joined Professor Stephen Kinsella at Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick last night for the MBA Association of Ireland’s ‘Lessons from the Boardroom’ masterclass event in association with the KBS Executive MBA programme.
The students of the Executive MBA – along with some alumni of the programme – got the chance to listen to Pat’s words of wisdom from his long and successful career, including the importance of never giving up on a ‘burning idea’ and how to turn your perceived failures into wins. An insightful discussion between Pat and Professor Kinsella was followed by a Q&A session with the audience, who were full of questions for the duo.
Moderating on the night was Michelle Gallagher, President, Board Director and Mid-West Chair of the MBA Association of Ireland.
