European Academy Fellowship for UL Professor

Professor Michael Morley who holds the Chair in Management at the Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick, has been elected as a Fellow of the European Academy of Management. The Academy, which has members from some 60 countries in Europe and beyond, is a learned society dedicated to advancing the academic field of management and periodically elects distinguished scholars to fellowship. Professor Morley was admitted at a recent ceremony held at the University of Bath during the Annual Conference, and will work under the leadership of the Dean of the Academy’s College of Fellows to support the Board, the Executive Committee and Communities of the Academy. Professor Morley previously served as Chair of the Irish Academy of Management (2007-2010) and was elected to fellowship of the Irish Academy in 2013. He also served as the 2013-2014 President of the International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management, a federation of 28 academies across all continents. Since 2020, along with Professor Anna Grandori from Bocconi University, he has served as Co-Editor-in-Chief of European Management Review, the journal of the European Academy of Management.
