Adrian is a PostDoc in the Dafinet team.
In his research, Adrian examines how goal- and emotions regulation processes influence political perceptions and behaviour. This includes question such as:
- What motivational mechanisms influence how people seek and evaluate attitude-relevant information (e.g. media)?
- Do certain motivational or affective states make people more prone to false or misleading information?
- Do people strategically communicate opinions (e.g. via social media) in pursuit of personal or group-related goals?
- How do interactive attitude-negotiations (e.g. intra- & intergroup discussions) influence social perceptions?
Adrian seeks to answer these questions mainly in controlled and semi-controlled research settings that involve single or multiple (interacting) participants.
