Maura and Sinead will present the Science and Engineering Community of Practice in Brightspace, which has been developed to address the practical and realistic support needs of academics as they get to grips with Brightspace and develop their teaching sites. It is also a space where they demonstrate good practices and design principles for online environments.
The S&E CoP is a living, breathing, and growing community. The ethos behind it is to advance teaching practice through collaboration and knowledge sharing. It was designed, built, and is maintained by a number of learning technologists, but its strength lies in the active participation of academics and faculty staff who share and contribute their experiences with their peers and the wider community.
