University of Limerick is delighted to welcome eight partners organization for the first face-to-face meeting of “the International and European Sport Organizations Activate Citizens Plus” project.
This 36-month project (January 2023 to December 2025) will contribute to the development of a new sport delivery framework where international sport organisations/federations become more than the governing bodies of their sport and play a leading role in the promotion of grassroots sport and physical activity.
University of Limerick play a role in providing research evidence on the state of the art on sport for all benefits, barriers and mechanisms of implementation, as well as a theory of action for the capacity building framework.
This three day meeting will help partners working on project management, first deliverables presentations, as well as theory of action.
